Tem uma extens\u00e3o de 60 quil\u00f3metros ao longo da costa algarvia, desde a Pen\u00ednsula do Anc\u00e3o (Loul\u00e9) at\u00e9 \u00e0 Manta Rota (Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta incr\u00edvel \u00e1rea protegida tem uma diversidade surpreendente de habitats: dunas e bancos de areia, sapais e salinas, v\u00e1rios cursos de \u00e1gua e lagoas de \u00e1gua doce e salobra, cani\u00e7ais, bosques e campos agr\u00edcolas. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">J\u00e1 foram registadas mais de 200 esp\u00e9cies de aves aqui, algumas delas muito raras ou amea\u00e7adas de extin\u00e7\u00e3o.
