Description

For those who have never practiced sailing and want to start learning, this sailing course for beginners will provide you with the perfect introduction.

Learn to cruise in Ria Formosa. Sailing courses are aimed at adults and are mainly practical with a maximum of 5 participants and 1 experienced instructor.

The main aims of the sailing course are for you to learn the nautical terms and sailing fundamentals including helming the yacht under sail, steering and handling the boat and also about sailing techniques and manoeuvres. At the end of the 5 classes, you’ll be able to understand and will hopefully have mastered all the issues related to safety at sea as well as the fundamental sailing techniques.

This is a totally hands-on practical course for beginners. You will be sailing on the first class, after a brief introduction on board. The course also includes a sailing manual and insurance during classes.
